By the time the neighbors called 911, Joseph was already cleaning the garage with bleach while his bleeding dog was losing consciousness. He was vomiting continuously, which indicated brain injury. His right eye was completely thrashed and oozing with blood. Cops arrived and immediately rushed Cooper to the ER.

The cops later got a search warrant and found bullets and other evidence of the crime on the property. Joseph maintains that the violent dog latched on to his arm, so he decided to kill the dog. However, the cops found no bite-marks on his arms. Moreover, the neighbors claim that Cooper is a smart and gentle dog. The investigations are still ongoing. Spread the word and help the cops nab this pathetic murderer.

Update: The cops have finally managed to book Joseph on charges of felony animal cruelty. He is currently in custody and could face up to 2-and-a-half years in prison. Meanwhile, Cooper is still receiving critical care at the hospital. We pray that he recovers soon.
